I began my career as a youth worker moving on to community mental work and then trained and qualified as a Social Worker. This led onto working as a counsellor within the field of addiction and then to working in secure environments.

I have over 20 years experience working with young people and adults and now work in my own private practice and work as a clinical supervisor at the Counselling Foundation.

I am an accredited counsellor and clinical supervisor. I am a Registered Member of BACP. My core training is Psychodynamic.  I am also qualified in other therapeutic approaches.

I am actively involved in continuing my professional personal development.
